I’ve hiked in the Rocky Mountains to photograph researchers, flown in a helicopter for aerial photos, and captured images of a cowboy trying to survive a bull ride.

Moments like these, and all the interesting people I’ve met along the way, have kept me motivated throughout my award-winning photography career.

I enjoy teaching photography online, have a successful YouTube channel, and created The Open Source Photography Course -a unique online photography course for Linux users.

I’m also a passionate supporter of open source software, an amateur video game developer, and a front-end web developer.
